Parsing runs in a disposable browser worker with a 15-second limit. Invalid required fields block that account's export. Duplicate IDs are flagged but retained. This is a transaction-table converter, not a complete accounting import or OFX validator.

QBW company files, PDFs, investments, loans, pending transactions, corrections and transaction-specific currency extensions are unsupported. Source amounts are not rounded or sign-flipped.

How do I convert a QBO file to CSV for free?

Choose a QBO bank export, select Read transactions, review the preview and download the selected account. No signup is required. This tool also accepts supported OFX bank and credit-card exports.

Is a QBO file the same as QuickBooks Online or a QBW file?

No. Here QBO means a Web Connect bank transaction export. This tool does not connect to QuickBooks Online or convert QBW company databases.

Are my bank files uploaded?

The converter reads files in your browser without uploading them or saving them in browser storage. Ads and other site services may make separate network requests. No transaction data is included in tool analytics.

Why is a CSV download disabled?

The selected account has no transactions or has invalid required fields. Check its messages and rows, then export a complete statement from your bank and try again. No invalid rows are silently removed.

Can Excel change my transaction IDs?

Yes. CSV has no column types. Import transaction IDs and check numbers as Text to preserve leading zeros and long values. The converter writes their strings unchanged unless the spreadsheet-protection option adds an apostrophe to a formula-like text value.

Will this CSV import into every accounting application?

No. This is a general transaction CSV, not an application-specific import template. Follow your destination application's column, date and amount requirements and review before importing.
