No. The PDF contains the text of the message. If an email only has an HTML part, it is converted to readable plain text with link addresses kept, so images, colors and the original layout are not reproduced.
Why do some characters appear as question marks in the PDF?
The PDF uses a built-in font that only covers Latin-1 characters. Curly quotes and dashes are replaced with plain ones and some accents are simplified, but text in other scripts, such as Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Chinese or emoji, becomes question marks. For such emails, print to PDF from your mail client instead.
How do I get an EML file from my email client?
Most clients can export a message as .eml, for example Download message in Gmail's message menu or Save As in Thunderbird and Apple Mail. The Outlook .msg format is not supported, so save or export the message as .eml first.
Is my email uploaded to a server?
