Choose the Start Date and End Date with the date fields. The difference in days is shown immediately, along with the same span in weeks, months, years and working days. The order does not matter; swapping the dates gives the same result.

Does the result include the end date?

No, by default the count is exclusive of the end date, so 1 to 2 January is 1 day. Tick Include end date (add 1 day) when you need both days counted, for example for rental periods, leave or event durations.

How are working days counted?

Working days counts Monday to Friday between the two dates and skips Saturdays and Sundays. Public holidays are not known to the tool, so subtract them yourself if they fall inside your range.

How are months and years calculated?

Weeks are days divided by 7, months are days divided by 30.44 (the average month length) and years are days divided by 365.25, each rounded to one decimal. They are approximations, not calendar-month counts.
